The biggest complaint about AI video tools isn't the AI — it's the lock-in. TailorClip's Studio is built on the opposite principle: every AI decision is a layer you can edit.
Layers, like a real editor — without the learning curve
- ✦Reword — click the AI's title and type your own words.
- ✦Move — drag it on the preview; it snaps between Top / Center / Bottom zones, with a custom-height slider for fine placement.
- ✦Retime — drag its block on the timeline, trim its edges, or type exact seconds.
- ✦Restyle — Standard or Boxed looks for any text layer.
- ✦Delete — one click, gone.
- ✦Add your own — titles, text callouts, an end card, or a graphic from your uploaded images. Audio and sticker layers are coming soon.
The part that matters: re-render never re-plans
Studio re-renders go through a render-only pipeline that bakes your exact edited plan into the video — it never re-runs the AI planner, so a re-render can't "change its mind" and overwrite your work. We verified this the hard way: reword a title, move it, retime it, add a layer, delete another, re-render — every edit is in the output file, frame-for-frame.
An Advanced mode when you want more
Flip on ⚙ Advanced and the Studio exposes the plan's real internals: six caption systems (karaoke chunks, one-word, sentence + keyword, all-white, three-color, two-tier) and six video types that retune pacing — the same knobs the AI planner uses, now in your hands. Premiere-grade control, without ever opening Premiere.
